This place came highly recommended when we were looking for places to eat on vacation. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. This was one of the best breakfasts we've had in our travels. The restaurant has both indoors and outdoor seating and the menu holds a lot of options and exclusives to Sunnyside Up. Our server, Kayla, was so nice and friendly and had a lot of great recommendations about the menu. We ordered two exclusives, the Cajun Benedict and the Bacon Avocado Scramble. The seasoned ranch potatoes were SO GOOD!! Perfectly seasoned. The shaved steak was fantastic, the texture was really great and it was full of flavor. Their green chile sauce was so savory! Absolutely would recommend and worth the trip if you're in Albuquerque.

I went with a groups of 8 for lunch. We had a range from 3 years to 90's. We had an online reservation and waited about 10 minutes past scheduled time. My daughter and I shared a gluten free pancake with turkey sausage and scrambled eggs. We had water to drink. The food was all good, not great but they had a gluten free option and a pork free meat option. The wait staff was very nice. Portions were very large. Even though my daughter and I shared, we still had half an uneaten pancake. I would go back as it worked for a group and there were options everyone found that pleased them, however, it isn't necessarily somewhere I would crave going back to...

Enjoyed breakfast for my first morning in Albuquerque. Cute restaurant and friendly staff. It was busy but moved quickly. The food was delicious and a great way to kick off the day. My omelette was a good serving and loved the tortilla on the side! My husband had the skillet which was also a good portion. I would definitely be back because there were so many options that sounded good. If you are looking for a good breakfast or lunch spot you have to try Sunnyside Up!

Had a wonderful visit with a large party of 12. They aren't always able to accommodate a big group at a single table, but we were fortunate. Our wait wasn't too long (about 45 min) considering a busy Saturday morning. Everything was fresh, delicious, and accurate. Service was excellent. Everyone remarked they'd like to come back, so I'd say it was a success!

Absolutely love this cafe food amazing and Great customer service Every time in Albuquerque I stop for breakfast here. It never disappoints.

Back for another try, late morning & 10min wait for a place to sit. Took awhile for our server to get there. But unlike our 1st trip I expected a wait because they were busy. Easy to order - they had what I was looking for. A bowl of grits for me & 2 egg breakfast for my wife. Ok, I added the strawberry with a dollop of whipped cream on impulse. It sounded really good. Our food arrived and it cooked as ordered, eggs easy scrambled, not dried from over cooking, sausage not overly greasy. The grits were hot with probably more butter than I wanted, easy enough to scoop out the extra. Strawberries were another story - enough for a meal by themselves. The dollop, let's just say it was waaay more than expected. I don't think I finished off either of them. But it was good! I like writing reviews that are improved from my 1st experience and look forward to my next breakfast there.

I came here today for a Father's Day breakfast with my family, and boy, was I in for a treat! The awesome part about this place is you can put your name on the online waitlist and wait at home--no more standing around like a lost puppy! This place is always super packed, so utilizing this waitlist is a lifesaver. Upon arrival, the atmosphere gives you a charming country cafe vibe. They even have chocolate bars and candies for sale at the front counter to support local charities. Talk about a sweet deal! The lobby area has benches for seating, which is a blessing for my impatient self. Now, let's talk about the menu--it's out of this world! They have almost everything you can think of. I went with the strawberry banana waffle: a golden Belgian waffle topped with fresh strawberries, bananas, and toasted walnuts, served with powdered sugar and whipped cream. Yum! I also ordered a side of sausage and two eggs over medium because, well, me hungry! For my drink, I settled with a coffee with half and half. When I received my food, they gave me bacon instead of sausage. But guess what? They brought my sausage within seconds, and the bacon was a bonus. It's like they read my mind and knew I needed some extra crispy goodness in my life. Despite being super packed, the service was still up to par. The staff was friendly, attentive, and didn't make me feel like I was just another face in the crowd. I even overheard someone saying their pancakes were so fluffy they could be used as pillows. If that's not a reason to come back, I don't know what is! SunnySide Up Breakfast & Lunch Cafe, you've won my heart and my stomach. Five stars all the way!

I have eaten here a few times and the food is really good. It is busy every time I go there and there is usually a wait. Service is great, and it is a nice brunch experience. It's really a bustling place!! Just thinking it's about time to go back there!

My husband and I enjoy going out for breakfast on Saturdays. We hadn't tried Sunnyside Up and decided to check it out. We had to wait about 25 minutes to be seated, no surprise since there were a couple of sportsball events happening this weekend. Once we got to our seats, things rolled along smoothly. Our server was friendly and attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. I ordered the corned beef hash with over easy eggs and my husband had a bacon avocado scramble. Both were very tasty and we enjoyed our meal without feeling rushed.
